Community Guidelines Overview
The National Association of PERMITORS™ online community welcomes diverse opinions but requires members to follow clear guidelines to ensure professionalism, safety, and constructive participation.
Play Nice
Inappropriate Content: Avoid name-calling, threats, harassment, lewdness, or bigotry. Passionate language is acceptable, but respect is mandatory.
Questions: Must be directly related to building permits or business licenses. Keep them brief, relevant, and free of spam.
Answers: Provide helpful, quality responses. Avoid one-word answers like “I Agree” or sales pitches. Do not include personal contact info or links.
Client Reviews & Endorsements: Share personal experiences with specific details. Be factually accurate, avoid exaggeration, and stand behind your statements. Reviews must relate to actual consultations or collaborations.
To the Public: Safety First
Do not share personal information (addresses, phone numbers, credit card details, passwords, etc.) in public posts. Contact professionals directly through provided profile links.
To Professionals: Self-Promotion
Promote your services through your profile or premium services, not in answers or endorsements. Avoid direct solicitations such as “call me” or “visit my website.” Links to your profile are already displayed with your contributions.
Originality Counts
Stay on topic and avoid copying/pasting the same answer across multiple questions. Substantial content not authored by you will be removed.
Terms
Compliance with these guidelines is required. The Association reserves the right to remove content that violates rules or detracts from user experience. Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent loss of posting privileges.
For questions or to report infractions, members can contact the Association via email or mail at the official address provided.
